Bellmore Crime Watch: Aug. 14

People named in Crime Watch items as having been arrested and charged with violations or crimes are only suspected of committing those acts of which they are accused. They are all presumed to be innocent of those charges until and unless found guilty in a court of law.

  • Nassau County Police reported a petit larceny incident in Bellmore on Aug. 4. Unidentified items were taken from a Swenson Place home at 8 p.m. Police said the perpetrator is unknown.
  • Unknown suspects damaged the windshield wiper of a parked car on Kenwood Place at 10 p.m. on Aug. 3. 
  • Dylan Z. Einhorn, a 21-year-old Wantagh resident, was arrested for driving while intoxicated near the intersection of Bedford Avenue and Merrick Road in Bellmore at 5:15 a.m. on July 26. 
  • A license plate was removed from an unidentified victim’s car near the Bellmore Long Island Rail Road station on July 25, police said. The larceny occurred at 5:50 p.m. at 59 Croydon Drive. Police said the perpetrator is unknown. 
  • Police reported a criminal mischief incident in Bellmore on July 24. At 5:56 a.m., an unidentified victim reported that the rear-driver-side window of his car was broken while it was parked in his driveway on Hughes Street. Police said the perpetrator is unknown.
