His father said that the family is appreciative of the community’s support.
“The thing that always gets to me is the kindness that you get from other people,” Wayne said. “So many people have done nice things for Dean. That’s what always gets me emotional.”
Sandra noted that March 19 was emotional for that reason, and because she saw her son bald once more. Dean said it was nice, though. He could feel the breeze.
