Calhoun seniors were all smiles at graduation

Calhoun High School held its 56th annual graduation ceremony last Sunday at the NYCB Theatre in Westbhury. More than 300 seniors received their diplomas from Principal Nicole Hollings and Board of Education trustees.

Griffin Miller, the senior class president, emceed the ceremony, delivering the opening remarks. Valedictorian David Braunstein and salutatorian Christine Collins spoke as well.

The audience also heard from Board of Education Trustee Skip Haille and Ruth Vadnais, a Parent-Teacher-Student Association representative, as well as senior class advisers Nikole DeLuca and Peter Palazzo and the class vice president, Daniel Donato.
