Cops searching for identity thief
Man allegedly struck at CVS locations in Wantagh and Bellmore

The man responsible for the two incidents has not been identified.

Cops are looking for the man who allegedly used a fake credit card to make fraudulent purchases exceeding $1,800 at CVS locations in Wantagh and Bellmore.

On Sunday, Feb. 16 at approximately 6:17 p.m., the pictured suspect was present in a Bellmore CVS and then a Wantagh CVS, located at 1178 Wantagh Ave.

He allegedly used a fraudulent Capital One Bank debit card with someone else’s name on it to purchase goods totaling more than $1,800. He fled the scene in unknown directions.

Crime stoppers is offering up to a $5,000 reward for information leading to the identification of the man. Those with any tips should call 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
