The battle of the bands will be held in the auditorium of the Brookside School, at 1260 Meadowbrook Road in North Merrick. Joe Rock, an on-air personality with WBAB, will host the event. Although the show will begin at 7 p.m., Manzo advised spectators that they should arrive when doors open at 6 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door, while supplies last. For advance tickets, residents can contact Manzo at (516) 532-3738, or stop by The Rock Underground, Got Cupcakes? and the Bellmore Bean Café. Checks should be made payable to the “Community Wellness Council.”
