Emily Rees is ranked first in LI by United States Tennis Association

Lifelong Rockville Centre resident Emily Rees, a sophomore at Lutheran High School in Brookville, was ranked number one on Long Island in the United States Tennis Association’s Girls 16-and-under Division.

In 2011, according to CoreTennis.Net, she competed in three major national tournaments including the USTA National Open in Beaverton, Or., the USTA Regional Tournament Segment in Sacramento, Ca., and the USTA National Winter Championships in Tucson, Az., winning half of her matches.
