Ice Arena's Holiday Show — The City of Long Beach is hosting its 2nd Annual Holiday Show, on Saturday January 8, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 150 West Bay Drive.The Long Beach Skating Academy & the City of Long Beach Ice Arena invite you to our Holiday Show which will feature local & national level skaters of all ages performing in the following categories; Ice Dancing, Synchronized Skating, a Professional Trio & Single Skaters. A Taste of Long Beach — Friends of the Long Beach Library are invited on Tuesday, Jan. 18, from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at Lola’s, 180 West Park Avenue. This year, a series of tastings at several local restaurants will take place. The series will begin with the sampling of Chef David Livingston's (of Lola"s) signature hors d'oeuvres. Career Coach/Motivational Speaker, Michael Coritsidis, will present a common sense approach to the job search. Join Long Beach Relay For Life —Next Planning Meeting: January 18. The Long Beach Community will be holding its 4th Relay For Life Event to benefit the American Cancer Society at Long Beach Middle School on May 14, 2011.
