Franklin Square library vote set for April 22

The Franklin Square Public Library will hold its annual Budget Vote and Trustee Election at the library on Wednesday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The public hearing on the proposed budget is scheduled for Wednesday, March 25, at 7 p.m.

Voting will also take place to elect one library trustee for a term of five years. School District #17 residents interested in running for election as a trustee must submit a petition signed by at least 25 registered voters of the district. Copies of the petition are available from the main desk (Circulation desk) between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Completed petitions must be returned by 5 p.m., Friday, March 27.
