Girl Scouts start cookie sales
Girl Scouts getting ready to start the cookie season are, from left, Kaitlyn, Gabriella, Chassity, Rose, Alana, Chloe, Harley, Erinne, Kennedy, Josie, Brianna, and Alani.

Girl Scout Troop #2325 of St. Christopher in Baldwin will be kicking off their annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale at Applebee’s in Baldwin on Friday, Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Not only will the girls be selling everyone’s favorite cookies, they will be collecting donations for Operation Cookie, to provide our military with that special taste of home. Over the past six years, Girl Scouts of Nassau County, with help from DHL, has shipped more than 250,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to our servicemen and women in Iraq, Afghanistan and surrounding areas.
