Police found pot and a gun
A Lawrence man, stopped by police for not wearing a seat belt, was arrested by officers of the Bureau of Special Operations in Inwood at 3:10 p.m. on Sept. 7, for alleged possession of marijuana and a handgun.
Kyheim Lameek Bethea, 32, of Central Avenue, was driving a 1998 Nissan traveling east on Mott Avenue. After police stopped Bethea, they detected the aroma of marijuana emanating from the car.
