Elks Lodge NY No. 1, of Lynbrook, held its annual musical revue for disabled veterans recently. The veterans, who came from surrounding hospitals, were welcomed by the club members and their families.
The theme of the evening was “Hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s — and the performers didn’t disappoint.
Songs, jokes, parodies were performed as solos, duets and chorus numbers. The audience laughed and applauded the Elks members and their families as they enjoyed a delicious roast beef dinner.
By popular vote, next year’s show theme will be “Motown Hits.”
