Lynbrook Fire Department hosts benefit concert for Wounded Warriors
Penny Frondelli/Herald
The party to benefit NC Operation Wounded Warriors was held on Earle Avenue last weekend.

The Lynbrook Fire Department hosted a block party to benefit the Nassau County Firefighters Operation Wounded Warrior program on Sept. 30. This year’s event, called Community Concert for the Troops, was held in front of Rescue Hook, Ladder and Bucket Company #1.

The concert included music by Jimmy Kenny and the Pirate Beach Band, Playback, and others.

The Lynbrook Fire Department, an active member of Operation Wounded Warrior, donated nearly $13,000 from their block party last year. For more information, contact Ex-Chief Kevin Bien at (516) 993-6074 or visit NCFF-OWW.com
