"A South Shore Summer" comes to the South Shore Jewish Center
South Shore Theatricals, Inc, is pleased and proud to present, "A South Shore Summer," a musical revue of popular songs from the early 1900s to today, celebrating the season! The show has a multi-generational cast of both professional and local performers, including many Oceanside school students and special guest artists. Anita Gillette, who has performed in 14 Broadway shows and earned a Tony nomination for Neil Simon's "Chapter Two," will be singing some of the greatest seasonal standards of the Great American Songbook. Frank Basile will be singing "(You Gotta Have ) Heart," "Love Letters in the Sand" and "Summer Wind." Broadway veterans Richard Halpern and Judi Mark, an Oceanside resident, will also grace the stage on Saturday, August 23 at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday, August 24 at 4 p.m. at The South Shore Jewish Center, 191 Long Beach Road in Island Park.
