It isn’t often you find farm animals wandering the streets of Oceanside, but strange things do happen according to Michael D’Ambrosio. The special assistant to Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano was driving near his house when he saw something in the street. It was so large, he said, “At first I thought it was a rhino,” but there it was, a 350 pound pig, walking down Royal Avenue, “it was up to my waist,” he said. D’Ambrosio managed to get the pig on the sidewalk and then called 911.
