Police searching for missing Long Beach teen

Nassau County police are searching for a teenager from Long Beach who went missing on Monday at 1 a.m.

According to detectives with the Missing Persons Squad, 15-year-old Jessi Vogt was last seen leaving her Pennsylvania Avenue residence on Feb. 20.

Vogt is described as a white female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 120 pounds, with long brown hair, brown eyes, a light complexion and average build, police said.

Detectives said that Vogt's destination and a description of her clothing were unknown, and added that a photo was not immediately available.
