South Bellmore Civic to discuss road conditions at Wednesday meeting

The South Bellmore Civic Association will be welcoming a guest speaker from the Town of Hempstead to discuss road conditions throughout the area at their next meeting on March 5.

The meeting, which will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, will be held at the Bellmore Memorial Library. Members of the organization said a representative from the Town of Hempstead Highway Department is slated to appear to speak about the condition of local roadways.

The civic’s board noted that residents may come to the meeting with notes about specific locations south of Merrick Road that need to be repaired so they can share this information with the representative.

The meeting will take place in the community room in the library, which is downstairs. The library is located at 2288 Bedford Ave.
