Stuffed animals and dental health

February is National Children's Dental Health Month, and Dr. Rania Elbaz of North Merrick helped raise awareness by visiting Twin Oaks Country Day School and The Progressive School. During the visits, Elbaz showed the kids proper dental care with fun props and activities. The children also learned what to expect when visiting the dentist by getting hands-on experience with the equipment that Elbaz uses every day in her practice.
