Summer concert series kicks off in Seaford

The Seaford Public Library presents its Summer 2014 series of outdoor concerts, “Music for a Saturday Evening,” in partnership with the Seaford Chamber of Commerce, the Friends of the Library, the Seaford Lions Club and the Seaford Wellness Council.
All concerts are free of charge and draw hundreds of people from the Seaford community and beyond. All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Here’s the rundown:

Stages, July 5

Stages is the Premier New York and Long Island Wedding and Party Band. Enjoy their wide range of music which includes Top 40, Classic Rock, the 40’s and Swing, 50’s and Sinatra, 60’s and Motown, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s - presented in cooperation with the Friends of the Library- to be held in the parking lot at the Seaford Library.


White Wedding Band, July 19

Get in your time machine and go back to the “totally radical” 80’s with this great tribute band - brought to you in partnership with the Seaford Chamber of Commerce- to be held in the parking lot at the Seaford Library.

Jukebox Explosion, Aug. 2

Rock out to this far-out, fabulous 60’s tribute band bringing you the best of the British and American Invasion – presented in cooperation with the Seaford Lions Club– to be held in the parking lot at the Seaford Library.

Uppercut, Aug. 16

Have the time of your life with this high-energy, funk, rock and R & B group whose repertoire is dedicated to the great horn bands of the last 40 years – brought to you in partnership with the Seaford Wellness Council– to be held in the parking lot at the Seaford Train Station by the gazebo.
