Suspicious smell reported on Merrick Road

HAZ MAT INCIDENT IN SEAFORD Photo(s) by Jack Healy On Sunday March 9th the Seaford FD under the command of 2nd Asst Chief Keith Kern responded to 3937 Merrick Road for a reported natural gas odor. This location on Merrick consists of attached stores and 2nd floor apartments. Firefighters using sophisticated gas detectors inspected the stores and dwellings.. Chief Kern also had firefighters go to the common roof of the incident to conclude their investigation. Firefighters had only normal reading by their equipment in the area inspected.

Chief Kern also had firefighters go to the common roof of the incident to conclude their investigation. Firefighters had only normal reading by their equipment in the area inspected.
