Three stalwarts of the community were selected as honorees for this year’s Mayor’s Golf Outing — Peter Ledwith, village attorney, Bill Gaylor, past president of the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce and its current co-vice president of government affairs, and James McQuade, owner of McQuade’s Neighborhood Grill on Merrick Road. “It was a great day, and the largest golf outing we ever had,” said Mayor Bill Hendrick. “It was wonderful to raise this money for Lynbrook’s Community Chest.”

The Community Chest, provides assistance to Lynbrook residents who are in need of help due to financial or economic hardships.

The Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce co-sponsors the event that took place on May 13 at the Seawane Club. An honoree’s dinner followed.
