Crime watch: Oceanside, Island Park

Arrests

A 22-year-old Lynbrook woman was arrested on Oct. 3 at 11:45 a.m. and charged with shoplifting from TJ Maxx, on Long Beach Road in Oceanside.

A 35-year-old man from Freeport was arrested at the intersection of Oceanside Parkway and Brower Avenue, in Oceanside, on Sept. 28 at 2:13 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated.

A 23-year-old Freeport man was arrested on Sept. 28 at 2:10 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated.

A 35-year-old Island Park man was arrested on Long Beach Road in Oceanside and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Larceny from auto

An Oceanside resident reported that an unidentified person stole money from her car while it was parked at her home on Westlake Avenue sometime between 10 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 27.

An Island Park resident reported that an unidentified person stole the handicap-parking permit from his vehicle on Baker Court on Sept. 14 around 1 p.m.

Larceny

At Red Mango on Long Beach Road in Oceanside, a customer reported that an unidentified person stole his bike.
