Chris Stefanakos, owner of Stefans Florist in Lawrence, was recognized at the Town of Hempstead’s Greek-American Heritage celebration on March 22.
At the town’s first-ever celebration of Greek-American heritage, officials celebrated the achievements and contributions of Greek-Americans in Hempstead Town. Stefanakos, a resident of Atlantic Beach, is the owner of the 60-year-old family owned and operated floral design company that serves the Five Towns as well as clients from across the region and country.
