Arrests

A Queens man was arrested on Dec. 26 at 8:50 p.m. and charged with two counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, unregistered motor vehicle, failure to signal and disobey traffic control device on Merrick Road.

A Bellmore man was arrested on Dec. 31 at 1:16 p.m. and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana on Merrick Road.

A 19-year-old Lynbrook resident was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (controlled cannabis) and failure to signal on Summit Avenue.

A 76-year-old man from Far Rockaway, Queens, was arrested on Jan. 1 at 2:45 a.m. and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving without headlights activated and failure to maintain a single lane on Sunrise Highway.

A Hempstead man was arrested on Jan. 1 at 9:46 p.m. and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, two counts of driving while intoxicated, four counts of aggravated unlicensed operator, circumventing an interlock device, unlicensed operator and moving from a lane unsafely on Sunrise Highway.

A Hempstead man was arrested on Jan. 2 at 8:35 a.m. and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator, unlicensed operator, no inspection and obstructed view on Peninsula Boulevard.
