The villages of Lynbrook and East Rockaway are each hosting 9/11 ceremonies to remember the victims of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The Village of Lynbrook will host its ceremony at Memorial Park behind Village Hall, at 1 Columbus Drive, on Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. East Rockaway’s ceremony is scheduled for Memorial Park at 376 Atlantic Ave. on Sept. 11 at 7 p.m.
