Nassau County Police arrested a Rockville Centre man early Thursday morning after a stranger observed him in her bedroom unannounced.

At about 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, according to detectives, a 56-year-old female home health care aide was in a second-floor bedroom in Rockville Centre when she saw an unknown man open the door and attempt to enter. The man saw the woman and ran downstairs, exiting the home through a front window, police said.

Rockville Centre Police responded to the scene. After an investigation, police arrested Alexander Troso, 21, of Jefferson Avenue, at his home at 1:08 a.m. He is being charged with second-degree burglary and was scheduled to be arraigned Thursday at First District Court in Hempstead.
