One dead in fatal Valley Stream crash

One person died in an automobile crash in South Valley Stream on Aug. 22 at 11:24 a.m., Nassau County police said.

According to police, the crash occurred when a 2011 Honda Odyssey collided with a roll-up dump truck at the intersection of Mill Road and Brookfield Road. The Honda sustained major damage, and one passenger was killed. Two other individuals involved in the collision sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

The investigation is ongoing
