Pre-prom festivities celebrated throughout Lynbrook

Prom fever was in full swing in Lynbrook on June 22 as many students from Lynbrook High School dressed up for pre-prom parties.

Atlantic Avenue in Lynbrook was converted into a fashion runway on a beautiful night on June 22 as the Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual pre-prom party.
Students dressed up in tuxedos and dresses and strut their stuff behind the shops on Atlantic Avenue while dozens of on-lookers greeted them and snapped photos along the way.
The event was part of many celebrations held throughout Lynbrook to ring in the prom.
Members of the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Bill Hendrick and some of his trustees were also in attendance.
When the pre-prom festivities wrapped up, the students headed to the North Ritz Club in Syosset for the prom.
