Super Smash Tournament
Thursday, May 25, 4-6 p.m. Malverne Public Library , 61 St. Thomas Place. Will you be the last one standing? Join the library for a Super Smash Bros. tournament where you’ll find snacks and Nintendo Amiibo for a prize.
Two of the area’s biggest events — the Memorial Day parade — will be held in Malverne and West Hempstead. The events begin at 10 a.m. and will begin on Church Street in Malverne and St. Thomas Chapel in West Hempstead.
Learn belly dancing
Tuesday, May 30, 7-8 p.m. West Hempstead Public Library, 500 Hempstead Ave. Miss Venera is back to teach this popular Middle Eastern dance class. Free.
