A Few Clouds and Breezy Van catches fire in Lynbrook

Under the command of Chief Carl Langel, members of the Lynbrook Fire Department extinguished a fire in a commercial van parked on Merrick Road near Denton Avenue on May 9. According to department Spokesperson Dan Neri, the fire was caused by mechanical failure and the van was “totally destroyed.” No injuries were reported.
