Woodsburgh native gets married

Ashley Nicole Gildin, daughter of Melissa and William Gildin of Woodsburgh, was married on May 6 to Jonathan Ross Spitzer, son of Lynn-Anne and Stuart Spitzer of East Meadow. Rabbi Todd Chizner officiated the wedding at Fresh Meadow Country Club in Lake Success. The couple met through mutual friends in New York City about three years ago. They live in Greenwich Village.

Ashley, 30, works as an account manger at LinkedIn. She graduated with a bachelor’s in art Duke University and received her master’s of management studies from the Fuqua School of Business, also at Duke. Her mother, recently retired after 35 years as a special education teacher at Woodmere Middle School in the Hewlett-Woodmere School District. Her father is the president of Satco Products Incorporated, a lighting company in Brentwood. She is the granddaughter of Kenneth and Ronni Berman and Herbert and Gloria Gildin all from Long Island and Florida.

Jonathan, 33, is a vice president in fixed-income trading at BNP Paribas in Manhattan.  He graduated from the University of Michigan and received a bachelor’s in economics.  His mother, recently retired after 30 years as a rehabilitation counselor at Nassau BOCES. His father is an attorney at Malone Tauber and Sohn, a law firm in Freeport. Jonathan is the grandson of Susan and George Coleman from Maryland.
