After a brief, serious illness, Isaac Hasday, the father of Dr. Keith Hasday and Craig (Ina) Hasday, both of Rockville Centre, died peacefully on the morning of Aug. 13. He was 88. more
Gina Giallombardo, a 2006 graduate of South Side High School, lost a long and valiant battle with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare soft-tissue pediatric cancer, succumbing to the disease on May 12. She was diagnosed with it in November 2009, and from that time until her death, she underwent continuous chemotherapy and several rounds of radiation. more
Rose Pomposelli Orzano, a longtime Rockville Centre resident, died on Aug. 9. Born in Tower Hill, Pa., to Julia and Louis Pomposelli, the family moved to Rockville Centre, where Rose and her sister Filomena attended public school. more
