Hockey league rolls to successful season

Valley Stream hockey league gets an identity

After a long layoff, hockey is making its way back to Valley Stream in less than two months. Jeff Kotcher, a 23-year-old Valley Stream resident, has officially founded the Valley Stream Roller Hockey League and plans to get the first season underway in late May. more

Adult hockey league starting in Valley Stream

There hasn’t been much action at Valley Stream’s hockey rink in recent months, but that won’t be the case for much longer. The Village Board of Trustees approved a proposal earlier this month to bring an adult hockey league to Valley Stream, with play slated to begin in the late spring or early summer. more
