Nassau County Police are seeking the man who robbed a bank in Valley Stream on Thursday afternoon.

An unknown man entered the Roslyn Savings Bank at 75 N. Central Ave. at about 2:15 p.m. on Jan. 24 and made a verbal demand for money. He obtained an undetermined amount of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5-foot-11 wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, black scarf and green pants. He fled on foot eastbound on Stein Street.

The were five employees and one customer inside the bank at the time. No one was injured. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
