Future is bright for North’s top grads

Chen, who elementary days were spent at Wheeler Avenue School, said she has been successful because of the support from her family. For Caluori, a Willow Road graduate, success came once she found how to balance her priorities.

With high school coming to an end, Chen said she will miss the teachers at North. “In college,” she said, “the professors, you actually have to reach out to them and make the relationships instead of high school where the teachers help you.”

Caluori says it will be tough to say goodbye to her classmates, and plans to speak about the memories they made together during her graduation speech. “Our grade, although we’re competitive, we are very close,” she said. “I’m definitely going to miss a lot of those friendships.”
