Molly Martin (Long Beach)
A big contributor on the basketball court and the lacrosse field for the Lady Marines. Martin was a four-year member of the basketball squad. The two-time All-County lacrosse recipient had a solid senior season despite playing in one of the county’s top conferences and helped Long Beach to the semifinals. The speedy, skillful and unselfish Martin will attend Bryant University.

Shantell McCall (Sewanhaka)
Sewanhaka’s basketball program has seen tremendous growth of the past five years. McCall will go down as one of the players who helped the Lady Indians become a contender for county supremacy. McCall, who averaged 16 points and six rebounds per game as a senior, earned All-County recognition as a junior and senior. McCall will play basketball at Dean College.

Dana Morgante (VS North)
Morgante was a key contributor on the soccer pitch and basketball court, but it was on the softball diamond where she was dominant. In five years as a varsity starter, she earned All-Conference honors twice and All-Conference three times. As a senior, she batted .605 with four home runs and 11 RBI. Morgante, who will attend Stony Brook, had 22 runs scored and 22 stolen bases.

Gabbie Toback (Calhoun)
Capped off her brilliant, six-year varsity career with the Bellmore-Merrick swimming team by picking up All-America honors in the 100-yard backstroke. Toback earned All-County honors five times, and was a two-time All-Long Island recipient. She qualified for the state championship meet three consecutive years, taking home second place honors as a senior. Toback is headed to Columbia University.

Nicole Wahlig (Clarke)
A stalwart defender for four years at Clarke, the All-State center back led the Rams to four playoff appearances. The diverse Wahlig was a shutdown defender who was lethal in the air, and was also counted on to provide offense from time to time. She earned All-County honors three times. She will play soccer for Loyola (Maryland.)
