A Few Clouds Man robs Sunoco station on Rockaway Avenue

Nassu County Police are looking for a man who robbed the Sunoco gas station, at 1200 Rockaway Ave., early Thursday morning.
The suspect entered the station at 3:22 a.m. and brandished a gold-colored handgun and a hunting knife and demanded money, police said. He fled west on Rockaway Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect was described as a black man in his early 20’s, 5 feet 8 and wearing a black ski mask, a khaki jacket, black pants and black gloves.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS.
