Fourth-grade students at James A Dever Elementary School saw their history lessons come to life during an in-school field trip last month.
Students participated in hands-on activities, including assembling a longhouse, telling stories, making a duck decoy out of clay, song, dance and learning history from a Native American perspective.
Students also played different tribal games on the school’s field.
