Valley Stream Cub Scout Pack 367 hosted its annual Blue and Gold dinner on March 2 at Holy Name of Mary School.
The highlight of the event was the Arrow of Light awards ceremony in which several boys earned the highest honor in Cub Scouts. The awards were presented by Town of Hempstead Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilman James Darcy. The scouts then took part in a bridging ceremony, led by the Order of the Arrow Ceremonial Team, to officially cross over into the Boy Scouts. They will now pick a local troop to join for the remainer of their scouting years.
Younger scouts also earned their rank advancements.
