Twirlers victorious in annual tournament

The Grace Thunderettes celebrated a major victory at its annual twirling competition at Grace United Methodist Church in June, with solo performers and the entire team both winning championships.
“They had some really good competition there this year,” said Coach Nancy Wasek. “It gets harder every year.”
The team is hosting free trial classes on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church’s gym. Email Wasek at gracethunderettes@hotmail.com for more information about the program.
