Valley Stream North students hold gift drive

North High School student council members and adviser Karen Ehrlich, at right, collected gifts that will go to families in need.
Students at North High School pitched in for a charitable holiday program run by the Parish Outreach at Holy Name of Mary Parish, collecting gifts that will go to local families in need.
Members of the Senior High Student Council shopped for three families they adopted through the program. With the help of adviser Karen Ehrlich, they bought clothes, books, educational toys and household items. The gifts were wrapped and will be distributed to the families in time for Christmas.
