About 400 people enjoyed games and rides at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament’s eighth annual Family Fest, according to Annette Farragher, who served as the chairperson for this year’s Family Fest.
“It went very well,” she said. “Everyone had a good time.”
The Family Fest featured carnival rides, games and raffles. Each night, local groups performed, including:
Kempo Karate
To Be Determined
Danse Xpressions
Live Christ, Share Christ Youth Group
Fisherman’s Law
Dylan Taganas and Friends
V2.O
The Church of the Blessed Sacrament Children’s Choir
Darryl Granum of Strongside Studios
Richie and Jen
All of the money spent at the Family Fest will benefit the church with its Parish Outreach, which feeds and helps the homeless.
“It goes back to the community,” Farragher said.
The church will hold its ninth annual Family Fest next year, during the first weekend in August.
