Mostly Cloudy Teenager missing from Valley Stream

A 15-year-old from Valley Stream went missing on Dec. 19, according to Nassau County police.
Detectives report that Desiree Gairy was last seen leaving her Valley Stream home at 7:05 p.m. that day. Gairy is a black female who is approximately 5-feet-2-inches tall and about 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, sneakers, a gray scarf and a gray hat. Her probable destination is unknown.
Detectives request that anyone with information about Gairy’s whereabouts call the Missing Persons Squad at (516) 573 – 7347 or dial 911.
