About 100 students from Diana Arichabala’s Spanish level 3 classes went to Sangria 71 in Williston Park to taste the flavors of Spain. Plates of appetizers came out including chorizo, croquetas and Manchego cheese with honey. Each student could then select an entrée. more

Heather Naughton, an English teacher at Wantagh High School, has been accepted into the state education department’s VITAL educator program to train colleagues on virtual learning. In addition, Naughton received the Harvard Club of Long Island’s Distinguished Teacher Award.
