Start the New Year off with a dose of Disney magic. The latest Disney On Ice extravaganza arrives at Nassau Coliseum, to the delight of young fans who can’t get enough of their favorite Disney moments. Relive some of the iconic characters and stories when Disney on Ice’s “Princesses & Heroes,” visits Long Island for four days, opening Thursday, Jan. 8, at Nassau Coliseum.
This production showcases Disney’s inspiring heroines and their partners, including those spunky royal sisters, Anna and Elsa, and the hilarious snowman Olaf, from the latest mega-hit “Frozen.” Joining this spirited pair are the enchanting Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora, and Snow White who make their wishes come true in excerpts from “Frozen,” “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty & the Beast,” “Cinderella,” “Tangled,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Aladdin,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Snow White.”
These unforgettable stories and delightful characters are brought to life on ice in a captivating production that transports the audience to world where imaginations soar and in true Disney spirit “anything can happen if you just believe.” Hosted by Mickey and Minnie and Goofy, with the assistance of Tinker Bell, everyone will share excerpts from these beloved tales as wishes are granted and their dreams come true. 
Anna, Elsa and their hilarious snowman friend, Olaf, travel through a fantastical winter wonderland to discover true love conquers all. Ariel’s dreams are unlocked from under the sea and, in one magical moment, Prince Eric breaks Ursula’s slithering spell to reclaim his one true love. In a race against time to rescue Aurora, Prince Philip defeats the evil Maleficent as she transforms into a fire-breathing dragon. Rapunzel fulfills her dream to escape the tower and see the floating lights; Tiana celebrates her ambitions of owning a restaurant in New Orleans; Jasmine discovers a whole new world with Aladdin; Snow White finds her one true love; while Cinderella and Belle’s deepest wishes are revealed.
