Seal Observations
Check out Long Island’s seal population, on a seal cruise offered by the Riverhead Foundation. Get an up-close look at these fascinating winter harbor seals throughout Hempstead Bay. Sail aboard the Captain Lou Fleet out of Freeport. A naturalist is on hand to discuss biology and seal behavior and other marine life encountered, including the many sea gulls and other birds flying overhead.

NCMA’s Family Day

Explore the current exhibition, “China Then and Now,” on a docent-led tour, also examine “Louis Comfort Tiffany: Works on Paper,” in the Permanent Collection Gallery, along with supervised art activities.
