Seaford Historical Society leaders invite residents and fans of the "The Great Gatsby" to learn more about Long Island's Gold Coast at their March meeting.

All community members are welcome to attend the meeting at the Seaford Historical Museum, at 3890 Waverly Ave., on March 2 at 7 p.m. Author Paul Mateyunas will take attendees on a trip through time to the days of Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby and the grand estates on Long Island

Mateyunas wrote the book "Long Island's Gold Coast." He will sign copies of the book — which will also be available for purchase — for attendees after delivering his lecture.

Admission costs $5 per person. The program is free for students and Seaford Historical Society members who present valid identification.

Light refreshments will be served.
