Seaford Man Charged with Burglary

A Seaford man was among five arrested Monday in connection with a Massapequa Park burglary, detectives said.

According to police, on Sunday at 7:15 p.m. three men who knew the victim entered his home on Broadway. After about 20 minutes, Nicholas Vairo, 21, of Levittown, allegedly displayed a handgun and demanded the victim give up his wallet and get on the floor.

Detectives said the suspects stole money, along with a computer tablet and two X-Box controllers. The three men, which also included Michael Myers, 21, of Seaford, and Rajiv M. Singh, 19, of Bellmore, fled in a 1996 Geo Prism, which belongs to Jessica Taylor Corsale, 20, of Massapequa. Melina James, 18, of Huntington Station was in the car as well, cops added.

All five suspects were arrested on Monday and charged with first-degree burglary. Myers was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, while Singh was charged with two counts as of the same infraction. All five arrestees were scheduled for a Tuesday arraignment at First District Court in Hempstead.
