A ride that's all about safety and convenience
Keeping clientele and employees safe was top priority. They installed 24-hour surveillance and GPS locators in every vehicle. All drivers must be properly licensed, and are screened and drug tested, not only by the state, but personally, as well.
Knowing that people don’t enjoy riding in shabby cabs, they purchased only new vehicles. The oldest in their fleet are 2014. Several are MV-1 mobility vehicles, handicapped accessible with ramps for wheelchairs. All cars are black, air conditioned and comfy, with tablets, as opposed to radios. By using the tablet, the driver always has access to the best and quickest route. Each car is also equipped with a credit card machine that will produce a receipt.
Securing a ride with Taxi-Taxi is easy, especially since their technology setup can keep everything in memory, like commonly used locations, such as home, work, or even a favorite restaurant. Information can be placed into an online account. Through that account, customers can reserve a cab, check, change or cancel a reservation, and review past orders. Taxis can also be requested by phone, or by using a smart phone application. The nearest cab to the location is called for pickup. And when the driver is outside, the customer will receive a text, and if needed, a phone call. No honking, or disturbing neighbors, is necessary.
Services include airport transportation, which includes water and a newspaper for the ride. Prices are kept competitive, with flat rates for Freeport, and slightly more for surrounding towns (Uniondale, Rockville Centre, Baldwin, Merrick, Roosevelt and Oceanside). Additional people are also extra. Senior and veteran discounts are available. Also offered are guided tours to popular spots on Long Island, like Jones Beach and wineries. They will travel from Montauk to Manhattan.
Taxi-Taxi is consistently expanding its fleet and adding technology. Customers are encouraged to make suggestions on how they can improve even more.
