Sabella currently attends Stevens Institute of Technology, where he is double majoring in computer and electrical engineering.

Alex Sabella, West Hempstead High School’s Class of 2012 valedictorian, continues to excel at the prestigious Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Sabella — who is double majoring in computer and electrical engineering as part of a 5-year program to receive his bachelor’s and master’s degree — was placed on the Dean’s List after maintaining a 4.0 GPA throughout his entire freshmen year.  He took advantage of the Scholars Program that he is enrolled in by challenging himself with difficult classes at Stevens over this summer and maintained his grade point average.

Earlier this year, Sabella was invited to be a team member of Stevens Christian Fellowship where he will further his studies about his Christian beliefs.  He will give his testimony of faith this fall.

Sabella has also been asked to join their worship band where he will play acoustic guitar as he did in his church at home.  He has also continued to participate in sports as he did in high school.
