The West Hempstead school district held its annual Family Literacy Night on Feb. 27 at West Hempstead High School. Children and parents alike enjoyed a fun-filled evening of playing board games, reading with friends and meeting their favorite storybook characters, as portrayed by local West Hempstead students.
